THE CURRENT RULE

Daylight-only drop-in

Great Park’s published policy limits drop-in soccer to daylight hours.

WHAT WE’RE ASKING FOR

Lights. Access. A pilot.

Designated turf fields, free evening hours, and a clear public schedule.

WHY IT MATTERS

Time to play together

A chance to get outside and connect after the workday or school day.

ONE SIMPLE REQUEST

Keep the lights on
for Irvine soccer.

We ask the City of Irvine to pilot free evening pickup soccer on designated Great Park artificial-turf fields, with posted hours, lighting, and access that respects existing reservations and maintenance.

This is a request for the city to explore a pilot. The field locations, days, hours, and operating costs would be determined with city staff.

Your signature, your choice.

Only the total number of signatures is shown on this site. The campaign stores your name, email, city, optional ZIP code and comment, consent version, and signing date. Your name, city, ZIP code, and comment may be included in the petition sent to Irvine officials; your email will be excluded. The city warns that submitted personal information can become a public record. Read the city’s notice.

Save the private withdrawal link shown after email confirmation to remove your entry before delivery. Removing it here cannot recall a copy already delivered to the city. Campaign records will be deleted within 90 days after the campaign closes. No advertising trackers or mailing-list enrollment are used. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated submissions, and Resend delivers confirmation emails with open and click tracking disabled. Your email is shared with the delivery provider for that purpose. Short-lived keyed hashes help limit repeated requests; raw IP addresses are not stored in the petition database. Unconfirmed links expire after 30 minutes and expired requests are removed during subsequent signups.
